1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Unity Access Skills Training Center ("the Center," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2214 N Fulton Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.

By accessing or using our website, submitting any form, or enrolling in or participating in any program offered by the Center, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

These Terms apply to all users of the website, including but not limited to program participants, referral sources, visitors, and any other individuals who access or interact with the Center's digital platforms.

2. Definitions

"Center" refers to Unity Access Skills Training Center, including all programs, services, staff, and digital platforms operated under its name.

"Website" refers to all web pages, forms, content, and digital resources hosted or maintained by the Center.

"User" refers to any individual who accesses the website, submits information through any form, or participates in any program offered by the Center.

"Independence Division" refers to the division of the Center that provides clinical rehabilitation programs for individuals with disabilities, operating under licensed clinical supervision.

"Public Programs Division" refers to the division of the Center that offers workforce development, life-skills training, and community-based programs open to the general public.

"Content" refers to all text, images, graphics, logos, videos, documents, and other materials published on or through the website.

"Services" refers to all programs, training, clinical services, and other offerings provided by the Center, whether delivered in person or through digital platforms.

3. Use of Website

Section 2.1 — Permitted Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these Terms. The website is intended to provide information about the Center's programs and services, to facilitate enrollment and referral submissions, and to enable communication between users and the Center.

Section 2.2 — Prohibited Conduct

When using our website, you agree not to:

(a) Use the website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of the website.

(b) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the website through hacking, password mining, or any other means.

(d) Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

You agree that all information you submit through the website, including enrollment forms, referral forms, and contact forms, is accurate, complete, and current to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for updating any information that changes after submission.

4. Public Programs Enrollment

Section 3.1 — Enrollment Process

Enrollment in Public Programs Division courses and training programs is subject to availability and eligibility requirements as determined by the Center. Submission of an enrollment form does not guarantee acceptance into any program.

Section 3.2 — Program Requirements

Participants accepted into Public Programs are expected to comply with all program requirements, including attendance policies, conduct standards, and completion criteria as communicated by program staff.

Section 3.3 — Fees and Payment

Certain Public Programs may require payment of tuition, fees, or other costs. All applicable fees will be communicated prior to enrollment. The Center reserves the right to modify fee structures with reasonable notice. Refund policies, if applicable, will be provided at the time of enrollment.

Section 3.4 — Cancellation and Withdrawal

The Center reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any program at any time due to insufficient enrollment, staffing changes, or other operational considerations. Participants who wish to withdraw from a program must notify the Center in writing.

Section 3.5 — Certificates and Credentials

Certificates of completion or other credentials are issued at the sole discretion of the Center and only upon successful completion of all program requirements. The Center makes no representations or guarantees regarding employment, licensure, or certification outcomes resulting from program participation.

5. Independence Division Referrals

Section 4.1 — Referral Process

Participation in Independence Division programs requires a formal referral from an authorized agency, case manager, or clinical team. Referral submissions are reviewed by the Center's clinical staff to determine eligibility and appropriateness of services.

Section 4.2 — Clinical Services

Independence Division services are clinical rehabilitation programs delivered under licensed clinical supervision. These services are individualized and governed by individualized rehabilitation plans (IRPs) developed in coordination with the participant, their clinical team, and the referring agency.

Section 4.3 — Coordination of Care

By participating in Independence Division programs, participants and their authorized representatives consent to the coordination of care between the Center, the referring agency, and other members of the participant's clinical team as necessary to provide appropriate services and fulfill reporting obligations.

Section 4.4 — Discharge and Transition

Discharge from Independence Division programs is determined based on clinical criteria, achievement of IRP goals, or other factors as assessed by the clinical team. The Center will coordinate with the referring agency and the participant to facilitate appropriate transitions upon discharge.

6. Intellectual Property

Section 5.1 — Ownership

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, videos, audio, software, and the overall design and layout of the site, is the property of Unity Access Skills Training Center or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Section 5.2 — Limited License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content without our express written consent.

Section 5.3 — Trademarks

The Center's name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Unity Access Skills Training Center or its affiliates. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this website are the trademarks of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The website and all content, materials, and services provided through the website are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Center, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your use of the website, your submission of any information through the website, or your participation in any program, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Privacy

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Section 9.3 — Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first contact the Center and attempt to resolve any dispute informally. The Center will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through direct communication within thirty (30) days of receiving written notice of a dispute.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, such provision shall be severed from these Terms. The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published by the Center on the website, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Center regarding your use of the website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the website.
